no, just went to a school...with a teacher...and learned piano along with my guitar
but I can play very good classic, if that's what you mean 😕🙂
I, for example was not trained in this way...I was taught everything, from church hymns to modern jazz...and I think that's made me a better piano player...

"Für Elise" is one of my favorites...probably one of the first classical pieces I learned...

*: I contributed to that phenomenon by letting one of my piano students play a simplified version of it. Her name was Elise, so naturally she very much wanted to play it. Motivation is the best teacher, so I put up with it, even though the result wasn't great.
