I'm looking for cool places to go for my two week holiday this year.
I was considering travelling by train to a few european countries, finishing in prague as i liked the place when i went last year. This time maybe hitting paris, berlin, veinna, maybe Amsterdam, before ending in prague for the last weekend.
Idea 2.....Rekjavick, oslo, copenhagen, prague (or possibly bratislava).
Idea 3.....hang europe, and go to Thailand.
Anyone got any cool ideas for places to go to ??? I can take 3 weeks, so distance is not an issue, i just want to do something different.
Thanks in advance 🙂

I will go again, but it doesn't hold the same attraction to me now i've been. It was number one in my places to go list, now i've been and had a few of my premises shattered, i want to try somewhere else.
edit, i heard rekjavick was €20 a beer.....man that's expensive, but maybe i can stay sober till i get to prague.....€1.20...average.

If you had three days to enjoy one city, where would you go, and would you go midweek, or weekend ?
edit i was thinking poland first half of the week, prague second.
Originally posted by huckleberryhoundFly Ryan Air, they're so cheap they would advertise "Fly to Poland" but touch down would be somewhere in Hungary.

Originally posted by huckleberryhoundSalt mine is huge. Worth seeing. The underground church is carved out complete with Chanderlier. The lift broke when we were there. Had to wait two hours to get out was very crowdeed. Also look for some of the castles. Poland has some of the most impressive and well intact in Europe.

Originally posted by huckleberryhoundVancouver BC. I went on my own in 2005. I did a Moose tour, met loads of people, backpacked around the Rockies, jumped out of an aeroplane, tried a bit of whitewater rafting and kayaking. it was amazing. £99 one way with Zoom
