...right now sucks.

I am losing most of my games in the Clan League.

I have to revise for my final professional exam which is next thursday

the weather in London has been crap for quite a while now.

and to top it all off I have been dumped. She'd love to be friends though, Ha!

In fact the only thing I can rely on is my flatmate to nag me about something, and that I can vent my anger in the debates forum.

Keep your head up! And take your time in doing it.

As one door closes another opens. I had to be told this a thousand times before I realised that, like most old proverbs, there is actually a grain of truth in it.

At least we can work on your most serious problem which is the deteriorating standard of your chess.

Your life right now is good

1) Chess games are not important

2) from next Friday, you've no more professional exams to worry about

3) the trees and grass are green and lush once again thanks to all this much needed spring rain, there'll be a good crop in the autumn.

4) you're free to play the field, including that hot friend of your ex's that you always had an eye on

It's just the way you look at it.

The best option is to be really keen on just being friends. It the last thing they expect.

Go out with her best mate as well.

What if her best mate is a male and he doesn't fancy males?

I believe we are talking about his situation and not yours.

that is indeed most pressing.

As for that proverb, i've heard that a lot in the last two weeks. But i am sure it's true.

Her best mate is very pretty...
