#1 Home Depot - I could live in a Home Depot

#2 Petco - I can not just go in and buy pet food. I piss away plenty more money on pet toys. I don't know if the dogs and cats have more fun with them or I do.

Where do you guys like to shop the most?

I avoid Home Depot like the plague. I'm not the least bit handy.

Personally, I like a good used book store (with hard-to-find items). I also really like ethnic grocery stores, exotic pet stores, magic shops, a good (well organized) music store...and a well-stocked 24-hour convenience store.

Oh yes, I do love book stores too. Here in Portland we have Powells, locally famous. Used and new. Kind of like an antique store.

Also, in the area we have stores that sell antique hardware salvaged from homes etc. Such as glass door knobs, brass and bronze hinges etc. Very fun just to look around. There's still some cool stuff out there.

Someone once asked in our General forum where they could go to and get a good cross section of American life. They were about to visit here. My advice was Walmart. There's a bit of your life you just can't get back. πŸ˜‰

Second hand bookstore in the centre where I do my grocery shopping.

I could spend all day in CD warehouse at the V&A waterfront.
