Is is completely out of the realm of believability for a player to become a strong player or even IM or GM before joining this site??? I would expect them to wipe the floor with all and sundry and have a meteoric rise in their rating. Yet this would be cheating to most - to have no losses. Then, if they show their human side and lose a game or 2 to weaker players, this also shows their guilt????
You need to rethink your opinions.

If the average player on RHP is not so good to them ... why an IM or GM would be playing here ??? its a nonsense ... but obviously there are few exceptions ...
I suppose they should be playing on FICS, for example .
Originally posted by no1marauderThis is good news, not that cheats are still thriving, but your post re-enforces the facesaving notion that most players blunder, and at the moment I am gutted, not so much here although I've blundered plenty, but otb where in my 1st 5 games this season I have been outgraded every game, but got into endgames where I should have won 4 and drew 1, but alas due to ridicleous endgame blunders (where I have had a time advantage!!!!!!!!!) my record is won 1, drew 2, lost 2. I have this knack of somehow moving without thinking deeply late in the game.
Buy a Fritz; run some of their games through it. If they're consistently matching up with Fritz's 1st choice or a close equivalent (say at an 80-90% rate once they're out of the opening databases), they're almost certainly a cheat. There are signs if you don't have a Fritz; players with an extraordinary amount of games making a lot of moves daily but som ...[text shortened]... layers know who's a cheat; when you've played a few dozen of them, you get a feel for it.

Sorry. What is the appropriate course of action?
Looks like you sent feedback to the site administrators which is what you should have done in the 1st instance.
If it turns out that the person in question is legitimate, i hope they send feedback to the site administators asking for you to be banned on the grounds of harassment..

well a few weeks ago I would have laughed thinking you were joking, but I honestly think I am in need of something after say 90 mins of concontration, so I may try that thanks
