As a final test to the new code, I am making the beta site available to all. (Possibly for a short period, so apologies in advance if you reading this and it is not available)

It can be accessed at:

http://beta5.redhotpawn.com

Login as normal, and post any problems here to this thread. If all goes well, this will be going live tomorrow.

Great work. I like everything about it.*

*Except the medieval piece set, which is just creepy & should have been killed.

Seems all fine here.
I'd like to thank you for finally implementing the "flip board" and the time controls displayed on the board.
The new chess sets are great and far better than the old ones,as well as the new boards, marble, metal and wood are the best in my opinion.

I have just found a problem with the 'legacy' board and Safari on Mac. Not a site breaker though.

Yeah it seems good.
The "small" board is actually small, unlike the current site.
The icons on the right are a little big.
After years of using "newspaper", I have just changed to "book".
Not all that exciting...

I fully agree with mr. Ravello on this one. 🙂

It looks great with Internet Explorer, but seems to be dearranged with Netscape (7.1).

Alert, alert! Multiple account abuse! He's even playing against himself! We should send feedback about this. 😉

Reccomend ditching Netscape in preference for Mozilla 1.7 on which it works fine.

A legacy board interface is provided. (From board settings page.)

Does that work on Netscape?

I changed the board style to small and even micro. It is still dearranged. Do you meant that?

What?
Do you can explain that to a computer layman?

Sorry, I wasn't clear.

From board settings page, see the box with the following text :

Note : If you are using an old web browser or a web browser with limited functionality and you are experiencing problems, please click here to select a reduced feature board type that may be compatible.

Click that link, change the board type, and try again.
