Not too sure which one to go for. Some of you must have the phone in question so was wondering if you could give a little insight/ feedback on what you think?

Sony Ericsson K850i

Samsung G600

Nokia N95

http://shop.o2.co.uk/phone/Nokia/N95

I am after a camera phone and both boast a 5MP camera. Other than that not too sure which one?!!

Thanks in advance.

I've heard good things about the Nokia, personally use Sony Ercisson - can't fault them. If either tick all the boxes for you, you won't go wrong.

Sony Ericsson K850i

Is a beautiful phone, I was a nokia friek until I bought this.
The walkman is amazing, its a solid and well made phone and the battery last forever and a day.

I too have heard good things about the Nokia and all the other companies are being compared to it and its camera capabilities, I have just read that the N95 has VERY poor battery life, some was saying the battery was fine, others said it was terrible.

I want to make the call to the mobile company today as my upgrade is overdue. It will more than likely be an 18 month contract so dont want to get it wrong!!

Cheers mate, I am abit of a Nokia freak too and have very rarely deviated from the brand in the past.

Can you tell me if you can upload your pictures that you have taken to your computer?

Cheers

Aparently its about 18 hours MAX, if you use the features then people have said they have to have it plugged into their car to and from work and also have an extra charge AT work!

Just read that Nokia had a 50% return rate.

EDIT: This site appears to have them all under review, with consumer reviews too.

A couple of my mates and my dad have the N95. I've not heard any complaints and they seem to be made up with them. They do look the mutts nuts. I have the Sony Ericson W800i, not the 850. I am happy with it, but I have never found an easier phone to get round than Nokias. They seem to be brilliant in their simplicity.

Your right about them looking the mutts nuts.

I asked the guy at O2 when I phoned about the battery life of the N95. He said that Nokia upgraded the phone, put a load of new features on the handset but didnt upgrade the battery life. He said that they phone is flawed and has a bad design fault.

I read that some users have found the phone to be fine which leads me to conclude that it has a "glitch" rather than a battery fault. I have read that roughly 50% have been returned to the maufacturer.

I would have gone with the N95 if it wasn't for the reviews I read here:-

Cheers for your input.

I haven't really seen any. There are reviews here but a few people have left 25% good due to not having one and just posting that they have ordered it etc etc so the overall rating appears to be down.

CelticC appears to be over the moon with his and the guy from O2 said they had 16000 delivered last week and they went in 2 days. I dont really like having a "common" phone but if its that well sort after then it must be pretty "solid" as far as phones go.

When mine arrives then I will be taking a picture of my digital camera with my phone and sticking it on ebay! 😀

I have a N95. I have had it for 3 months. The battery is fine! No probs for me.
The video capability is endless and the Carl Zeiss lens is superb.
I download from phone to pc and the quality is not far off my 11Meg Canon EOS!!
Translator, word, acrobat, GPRS etc etc.....
I really do recommend a Nokia N95 - Sincerely! 😉
