-Removed-I'm not confusing anything. Tolerance is a perfectly reasonable word to use when talking about immigration; I mean a more tolerant attitude to foreign nationals entering a country. I could have said 'liberal' or some other word but it's just semantics and you know what I mean. I was expressing an opinion, but it's just my opinion, and it's not the only opinion. In my opinion the breaking down of national boundaries is a good thing, but who knows, maybe UKIP have got it right; a lot of people seem to think so.
Originally posted by AmauroteMate, Labour haven't been left-wing let alone socialist since Tory BLiar came to power. And don't think for a second the Milli-bands will change that - their poor old "communist" (read: not Daily Nazi-level fascist) father is spinning in his grave like Wiggo's dynamo.
I'd class myself as a guild socialist rather than a collectivist, but I'm still holding my nose and voting Labour
Frankly, if you want to vote left-of-centre in the UK at the moment... you'll have to emigrate.
-Removed-Erm... yes, it is. In my country, and even more so in yours. If you think the rise of the UKDotUSAP (or in our case, the Wilders Bunch) is not a jerk to the right, fueled mainly by an irrational fear of a wave of Polacko-Pakis coming to collect dole money by stealing all the jobs, you need to look at the agitprop a little more closely.
