I just had another idea (or rather, I remembered that I had had another idea earlier) - "Patterns". It overlaps somewhat with "Abstract", but I think I'd like to see it as a separate (additional) category.

Another idea for a category: Light. We had "Natural Light" as a category earlier; here I am thinking more about experimental pictures with light from any source, natural or artificial. When I started thinking about this round, I had a hard time coming up with ideas, and I didn't really like the subject. But after playing around a bit, I got more ideas than I can use, and I have had a lot of fun! Now I need to clear up the mess. 😉
I just realized that I will be very busy next weekend when the round was supposed to start. At best I'll be able to open it on Sunday evening, but more likely I'll be too tired. So if anyone needs a bit more time, that's no problem (but please tell me).

Anybody with an interest, a camera and a couple of spoons (ie: anything) can take part in this round. As K said, this comp is more about sharing our photos and hopefully getting some constructive criticism.
Still Life is an interesting round, IMO. I've been trying to focus on lighting, texture and detail. It doesn't really matter how mundane the object(s) is.
