Saw it tonight.

Believe it or not, it's more beautiful and stranger than Fargo. Never have I seen a movie quite like this in my life. Crazy crazy stuff.

Excellent! I've been looking forward to seeing that.

You will definitely enjoy it. The performances are superb, the tension the movie creates is incredible (no soundtrack helps) and the dialogue is pure Coen.

Good deal. Can't wait to see it!

BTW, if you like the Coen brothers, you might like "Gates of Eden", a good collection of short stories by Ethan Coen.

Fargo is overrated.

That said, I've been looking forward to this one.

The commercials make it look great, and I don't know why. It looks like your average "good guy finds something good, bad guy wants it back at all cost" movie. Glad you enjoyed it.

I found The Big Lebowski, Miller's Crossing and Barton Fink much more interesting. Fargo is an ok movie, but its definitely not their best.

Edit - Also The Man Who Wasn't There.

I read the book by Cormac McCarthy. If it approaches the novel in artistry it will be quite a show.
