its not like we get them all the time (last one was xmas 2004 i think) but it is a great way to introduce non-subs to tournaments and perhaps encourage them/us to subscribe.

Of course if you havent subscribed since 04 this might change your mind. Not saying you are scum but the fee is cheap and subscribers should have some benys only for them for paying.
and dont you think you get enough "benys" for subsrcibing?? one tourny in two years is hardly giving us non-sub scum that much benefit when compared to what you guys get now is it?

I subscribed so I can play tournaments and clan games.. no good that people can play them without paying and excluding the paying members from it!
Although I can understand that it might attract them to start paying, but maybe the payers should have been consulted first...

I thought subscribers are paying so they can be in tournaments..
You pay for more than the ability to play in 1 tournament every 2 years, a tournament where you don't choose time controls.
