Who are you really?

As you only joined on 7th Sept 05 and IM/Yozzer were banned on 1st Sept 05 (before you joined) you seem to know a heck of a lot about those events and write with more confidence than someone who caught up via the forums.

It seems that the administrators' efforts to reign in cheating accusations in the forums have been as successful as dubya's attempts to make the world a safer place.

Have you read the forums recently? There are many, many fewer accusations now than just prior to the establishment of the game moderators.

I don't think so. Immediately before the game mods, apart from the Woodley threads, the only person going around accusing people of cheating was The Slow Pawn and the nob that was the Phantom accuser.

The accusations were moderated back then as well.

I think it's a shame the banned people at the end of the week as there seems to be less modding / mod response on a weekend.

No, that is incorrect. Don't you remember the fracas surrounding TRACKHEAD, his allegations, and the counter allegations?

Well, if you feel you must leave in fear of being caught of cheating due to improvement, then chances are, in my experiences, that cast shadows upon you of your credibility.

Problem is, convicting a cheater takes time. Even the obvious ones, by looking at their graphs, the mods need to analyze game after game after game to get FORENSIC evidence. They nee ...[text shortened]... e removed by itself from this human phycological technique rather then what the mods do/convict.

In your experiences? You've only been here 6 weeks!

There something about your username I find offensive too. Maybe it's in the translation.

That was all Mateulose... we learned to ignore him.

You think your mission is to find cheaters and bust them... NO! That is NOT your mission! YOUR MISSION is to PROTECT THE MEMBERSHIP FROM CHEATERS!

Regardless of what you know, what kind of tools you may have, or what you are trying to do... you have never been trained at what you are trying to do. Maybe you've been trained at ...[text shortened]... re not well liked! Once you've established your credibility you can go after the "nice guys".
The best cheaters always make a pile of friends to protect politicly their reputation. I wish people would learn that. The "he can't cheat, he's my friend!" are words these exploitive/manipulative cheaters LOVE to hear and FEED upon. Besides, those who are not liked, are often those who are simply CORRECT about who cheats/who doesn't, and the cheaters friends try to squash them.

I've been on Gameknot, ICC, etc. There's more to chess then RHP.

I wouldn't consider Trackhead's allegations as being "just prior to the establishment of the game moderators". That series of accusations happened over a year ago.

You should learn to pay more attention. Mateulose was accusing Ironman31 primarily, No1 and others were freaking out about JamesWoodley, and TRACKHEAD21 was accusing people left and right, and being accused in return. Accusations were rampant, and coming from all directions. This was what led to the formation of the game moderators in the first place.

That still doesn't explain your (apparent) depth of knowledge of the IM/Yozzer bannings.

Edit - plus we only have your word for the fact you may have been around on other sites a while.

I hate to agree with you already, but I do. I posted similar in a different thread.
