I look at this way, we are all going someday and if someone lives into their 80's they've had a nice long life.

Surviving sexual violence is often a lifelong fight. The physical and psychological trauma, along with society's victim-blaming and abuse after the fact extends the struggle for years beyond the acute crisis period. These survivors are among the highest risk groups for suicide, even decades later. I suffered PTSD for 20 years after. I was saddened by Daisy's death because she had been a fierce advocate for survivors for years now. As someone said on Twitter, it really is surprising that any of us survive.

Suzianne, you have my deep sympathy for what you have been through. These tragedies have been discussed in many threads with different titles, still ending up in these traumas. I get so angry I could kill any of these men doing such things for pleasure or money.
