I sometimes look at people and then at inanimate objects and cannot really distinguish between the two - in my mind I would still like to tidy them away so they were presented nice and neatly.

Does anybody else ever get this too, when looking at people you forget they are really humans?

No, Tchex. Not on your life. It's the very opposite with me. People are alive. They hurt, think, feel, embrace

hope with the potential for change. Objects are inert, static, useful. Why relegate people to tidy and unreal?

Edit: Turned the laptop back on to say a few trailer words that came to mind... to do so seems so mechanistic, simplistic, empty, and void.

I can relate to what you are saying.
I'm not going to say too much in this forum because obviously it will be torn apart by the inhabitants of this site, like a pack of wolves on a lame mule deer.

😕

Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.
