I just tried to get in to my hotmail, and my PC told me......


"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. "


WTF ?????

I have norton 360, and i think it is taking the piss, any suggestions ?

Well, hotmail seems to be working for me, so obviously it is something on your end, firewall problem perhaps?

check the date and time on your pc (my son's suggestion)

Time and date seems fine, but every time i change page, my norton fraud monitor shows "engine error". Is it possible i downloaded a guff copy ( i bought it online from the source 😕) ?

Usually you can just ignore it - the certificate has probably become outdated.

I had a bit of trouble with hotmail and certificates before. I think it had to do with the fact that you get redirected to live.com, instead of hotmail.com as it used to be.

Norton is guff.

After a bit of Googling, it seems there are a fair few people with the same issue but not a lot of solutions to it (apart from the date idea). Your best bet is to contact Norton tech support.

EDIT: I bet you're using IE when you get this error as well

That's exactly what happened, because i noticed that when i checked the "www" thing. I had to restart my computer to get into my hotmail....don't suppose there is a quick fix ?

I just bought the new version online....i thought maybe it was a bug.
