Belichick already said he has utmost respect for the Dolphins, but Parcells will have nothing to do with it. Whatever happens with him, will be after the season.

I think history has now shown that Parcells victorious years were the ones where his defense ruled the day....the defenses coached by Belichick

It also says a lot for Belichick and his staff's character to take over a franchise like New England that were long, historical losers.

Between that and Kraft as an owner they definately put the "W" in New England football. I remember the year we got smoked by the Bears in the Super Bowl...oh, the pain.....

They attributed that loss to the fact that Marino had an incredibly quick release time with the football. That seemed to be the only way to beat them that year, I have never seen a defense like that, the front seven attacked like rabid animals on every down, they were unstoppable.
