I have way too much fun on my job to worry about playing chess. Chess is for when I get bored.

I used to play exclusively at work. Now I play exclusively when I'm conscious. When there isn't a move waiting for me here, there will be on GK, and if not there I'll play some blitz at FICS, and barring all of those I'll play against an engine...

It's doing nothing for my rating though... ๐Ÿ˜ž

chess excercises my mind and increases problem solving abilities. I think it helps my work.

rhp once proposed a small brower face to help workers play undetected in the workplace. would that be cheating? i personally liked to play workers as they are unable to use chess engines on the bosses computer. especially government employees.๐Ÿ™‚

Chess is not the same if your boss isn't paying you to lounge around, and insult people in the forums while you're moving ๐Ÿ˜›

I am playing in a "professional" capacity right now. I am supposed to be teaching criminals some math but the criminals are in short supply!

Apparently not. Mostly failed drug dealers round here.
