Quirine and caissad4 are the real players on this web site.
Look at how many moves they are doing per month and still maintaining the high standard.
If I remember right, there are only about 6-8 players in the top 150 highest rated players who makes more than 1000 moves per month and these guys are doing several thousand more moves.
One of these players is David Tebb, who is in the top 10!
I know that I left few names out, but these guys have also been around for a while.
WELL DONE
Sincerely,
Harri / Luck
PS: If I would be able to claim a draw against these guys, it would be a major accomplishment.
🙂 :o)

I guess there was not much interest in this thread. Perhaps there are so many licking their wounds after the games!

EDIT: Of course they are not in the top 150 all the time.
Originally posted by LuckNonsense. My rating will never be good enough to play them, and yet I find the site quite enjoyable whether they're here or not. If the highest-rated player here was 1550 I would still have as much fun. The ratings of other people, how many moves they make -- these things are meaningless to me and perhaps to others as well. But if their stats make you feel better about being here, that's great for you.

Originally posted by LundosRight -- but his point was that the lack of interest in his thread was because we were licking our wounds from playing these giants.

Originally posted by reader1107We lack interest in everything. Why not this tread too? I've never played Quirene and I've drawn 5 of 12 games against Caissad4. I'd say that's pretty good for a guy who's never read a chess book.

Originally posted by LundosYeah, that is good, but you're an 1800 player too, probably even higher OTB. I think what Reader was trying to say is that even people who aren't in the stratosphere (like her and I) can still have fun playing here.

Originally posted by SuzianneLol. I'm very overrated. I've never been in a chess club nor have I played OTB except against friends and family. I like that you think so highly of me, but I really only play here for fun too. I hope everybody have fun here. That's the whole point of the site.
