Wow...I heard some people were opposed to the Harry Potter books but I found it hard to believe. These full length novels that have encouraged so many young childern to take up reading seem wholly good to me. A great work of imagination and a story well told. Good against evil etc.
I would not expect anyone reading them to beleive the whole wizard/hogw ...[text shortened]... und the universe in the enterprise (apologies to any trekkies if this comes as a bit of a blow)

Great Play!!
I don't expect that I'll ever take your children to see it though.
I what I meant was I could only image how you'd react to discover I had taken my children to see a production of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Are some of your children in that High School? Or was this just something you went to.
I saw that live once, i think in toronto.
Obviously, I've watched the movie with Gregory Peck a number of times. I think I even watched it with my daughter once.
It is wonderful you're exposing your children to the modern classics!

We went to our in-laws and they watch the Fox News Channel constantly. On the drive home, my Daughter who was 9 at the time asked me why the dirty Mexicans were trying to sneak into our country.
Just part of trying to be a good parent, right?
The only question that I might have for you is why you think this would upset me in any way?
