Well I played this one guy a few times, that if I took his queen, without him being able to take mine, no matter the number of pieces he had left, he would always resign.
Not that I really cared either way... It's not like I'm that great of a chess player anyways.
It did get a both a little frustrating and a little boring after a few games though.

I have been playing matches on the site for close to a month now. My question is ... "is it rude to forfeit a match you know you are going to lose?" or is recommended to play the entire match you, allowing your opponent check mate you?
I have been in some games where I know it is just a matter of time b/f I lose. Please advise.

I think it is the polite thing to do when one resigns a hopeless game.
It also definitely depends on the opponents rating....if they are over about 1600 you can be pretty sure they won't blunder when they are well ahead......there again you never know for sure. 😕
