We're not deciding winners by American election, people. How about a little less voter apathy and a little more verse appreciation? The contestants put a great deal of work into those poems, and they take but a jiffy to read.

Unrelatedly: People! Don't rec me for the entries, because I didn't write them. You could do it if the 'Recommended posts' page were up, because the poems are good and need exposure, but as long as recs are equivalent to mere mad props, I don't deserve them for others' work.
