Bullsh#t.

When a person sends a 'private message', it is private.

Your efforts to dispute this are laughable, same as FMF.
Can you or anyone else tell me how to access this "private message" facility?

Stop acting like a dipsh't, it's a private, personal message. The sender is relying on the receiver to treat it as such.

FMF broke protocol and needs to apologize. Period.

-Removed-
Stop defending your boyfriend. He broke every form of decency by sharing a personal message.

How much will you crawl on broken glass, naked and belly down, for
your beloved mack, dive? Don't you have any ounce of dignity left in
you? Ugly and pathetic as you are, I'm sure you can make real friends
at your local pub, buddy.

so how do you guys improve your ratings so much?

FMF owes Suzianne an apology. He shared her private, personal message with others. It was wrong, and all excuses FMF has used has only made him look weak and cowardly.
Stating your opinion that the way I dealt with her PM was "cowardly" is not an argument. I am still waiting for any kind of argument from you about the 'right to confidentiality' that an abuser supposedly has and whether the targets of abuse can be said to have an obligation to cooperate in keeping the abuse secret.

You calling me "cowardly" is neither here nor there and you can do so till you go blue in the face if you want to. It's like robbie-style debating and it's of no consequence. But if you have an actual argument about "confidentiality" in a case like this, then I'd be happy to listen to it and perhaps even change my mind.

This whole private message thing has got right out of hand.
There is no official ban on the sharing of private messages. The ban is on the sharing of private information which the writer should not wish made public, such as family details, real-world name and address and medical information. There is no ban on the re-broadcasting of offensive or abusive messages, and FMF would have been within his rights to publish that email in the public forums. That he chose not to do so should be noted. Those of you who are carrying on at such length about this need to get a life.

This is very, very easy.

If Suzianne sent you an abusive post, which makes you a pussy admitting it, then you report it to RHP, like a coward would. The fact that an online woman threatened you is absurd, and you took that opportunity to share a private message.

Stop this. End this. Apologize to Suzianne, admit your feminine reaction, and all could be well.

jihad

I have addressed this idea already. Read this thread. Or read the thread on the Site Ideas forum.

I don't see how gender has anything to do with it.
