and you should also look up a "moment" and work out the relevance of that.

use (something) to bad effect or for a bad purpose; misuse.
You are here talking about a use of the word "abuse" that is different from the "abuse" I have been talking about. Yes, Suzianne abused the message facility. It even says, right next to the SEND icon, "Please refrain from sending any messages that may be considered abusive by the recipient." And yet she used the message facility for that purpose regardless.

Starting a witch hunt is abusive.
The disapproval Suzianne has brought upon herself is no more a "witch hunt" than the disapproval I have brought upon myself by dealing with her behaviour in the way I did.

This whole private message thing has got right out of hand.
There is no official ban on the sharing of private messages. The ban is on the sharing of private information which the writer should not wish made public, such as family details, real-world name and address and medical information. There is no ban on the re-broadcasting of offensive or abusive me ...[text shortened]... should be noted. Those of you who are carrying on at such length about this need to get a life.
That is nonsense. I shared a single sentence from a text I received from R J Hinds as to why he was not returning to the forum and I was instantly greeted with a text from a moderator stating that if I did it again I would receive a forum ban.

You need to make the case if you think there is one.

He asked you a question why don't you answer it?

By contrast, I have not posted a single sentence from Suzianne's PM on the public forums.

Because if he thinks I am being abusive, he needs to make the case. I have made my case as to why I believe there is no onus on me whatsoever to keep supposedly "secret" abuse secret. If he thinks people knowing what Suzianne's abusive behaviour was is, in and of itself, abusive in some way, he should make his case.

Did you post verbatim text from a RJHinds message on a public forum? Yes, you did. I would never have done such a thing, regardless of whether I am within my rights to do so.

he asked you why what you did is not abusive. why are you unable or unwilling to answer it?
