Murder applies to humans, not animals. Therefore your first sentence has no meaningful content, which is why I didn't understand it.

Yes...i tried to make light of the situation and joke about it...but "man" has been killing and eating animals since the beginning...just because you do not like it does not mean I have to follow the same path that you do. neither does anyone else here.
And i do not have to watch a video to know that maybe some of the practices are cruel. I am still back to the basic deal I have already stated...it's a COW! it is NOT an endangered species.

...now on one busy day you slighted one of these dirt poor unfortunate individuals, as you usually do, as is your wont, after all these "people" just clog up the sidewalks, try to steal your possession and in general are just a complete nusiance. They only get in the way, the serve no useful purpose...
So one day one of these individuals decides to "even the score" and breaks into your normally secure abode, when no one is looking, and sure enough kills your daughters pet dog spot, in fact even took the time and trouble to torture and tease the poor thing before the final atrocitiy. The one she raised from childhood.
Now in due time this is discovered and of course your innocent and precious daughter is totally heartbroken crying a flood of tears. She doesn't understand that this has happened or even why this has happened. She just knows that her "best friend" has suffered a horrible and brutal fate. She just knows that it is wrong, that her sense of trust has somehow been violated.
Now would you say that spot was murdered or just dispatched? You would have to be a very insensitive, foolish and shallow person not to recognize the truth, that your daughters best friend was murdered, a needless act, an unnecessary tragedy.
Of course the person was never caught.
