I always thought that sodomy meant just anal. Then, a couple years ago in class, I found out it could pertain to any sexual acts (including oral) that do not involve vaginal penetration. I also found out that it is even against the law in some states. (Ridiculous, yes, but none the less it's there on the books). As much as I like what Shav contributes to the forums (most of the time), I'm afraid I have to agree with the rest here. It may not be known to many this way, or many simply may have not heard about it described this way, but the fact remains that's what it is defined as.

- foot massages
- kissing

See where this is going. That is why it's wrong.
What you are referring to is a dumbed down right-wing US religious interpretation, hell bent on banning anything other than good old fashioned reproduction. The US legal term as such...
