so I imgagine it is similiar..

I lived in 'temperate' Fukuoka (Prefecture) in Kyuushu - the winters were unbelieveable - the summers the same.

i was in Osaka for two years..Loved it. I love the weather in Hokkaido. I live in Moscow now.. Not much colder than Russia. as the russians say

there is no bad weather, just bad clothing.

I thought from your 'sumahen' in a previous post you might have been in Osaka - is 'suman' also Osaka-ben?
