Don't listen to them. I've never seen that take place. I've seen RHP vs non-RHP, but sub vs non-sub? Never.

Hey, I am part of your gang. 😉 Or I would be if I would play. But of course modern Japanese is not really fitting... I could get help from my brother with the Japanese used in the Meiji era, but older than that would be a problem.

I just got into a cool (free) podcast that teaches conversational Japanese. It's actually quite well done. Interesting too.

You really don't want to go there. You should know what happens every time Western barbarians invade Japan. Japan invariably loses.
