Really, who are you playing? Mine came through a few hours ago. Have you tried going to the site and seeing if it is there?
I'm Mau Ateh O'Osso of the Takeda Clan. I just checked in the site and it's there, but I didn't get any email.

How many people also had fleets in land-locked provinces? I had to salvage all of my fleet and from the proclamations, I wasn't the only one.

It seems there were at least 2. Perhaps others that we havent heard from yet.

Sometimes some peoples turns take longer to arrive - happened to me with the last DL turn.

For both this, and dragonlords.

It's worth mentioning it to the GM. He will probably give you extra troops or gold in compensation. I recall Suzianne being given such when she had some problems with her turn files in Mediaeval Diplomacy.

I salvaged my fleet for the same reason, in a land locked province.

I now have the same fleet in the right province, don't know if i got any money for the salvage though. . .i'll need to check.

I'm not sure I understand how the diplomacy aspect works.
Some peasant rabble is already at war with me and I won't even know why after I crush them.
Are we supposed to email each other? Sorry, I haven't spent much time on this, I've been a bit busy - I just need a few quick pointers...

Yep, email all those people who are near you, you will need to share information, form alliances and hope that your diplomacy will keep them from attacking you, try not to upset anyone (unless you think you can take them😉) The independant provinces nearby are yours for the taking, grow your empire and don't forget to annex the provinces you take if they are worth enough gold.

Do the independants actually attack or are they simply there to as oppostion when taking provinces?

They just sit there mooning in your direction until you take them.

Pfff.... I wish someone had mentioned that before! Then I'd have all my army out attacking instead of pointlessly defending borders 😠

I read that in the rulebook. Still haven't finished reading it though...
