What did you attack Tosa with, out of interest?

I know precisely what's coming my way.
Kyushi vs Shikoku+Honshu is not overwhelming odds to you?

Well, you and yours have about 1400 gold to call on, the honourable Lords of Kyushu have 500 ... fairly overwhelming!

Tosa? I'll have to check.

Of course it is, in the end, but we haven't got there yet. So far, where I have been involved, Otomo, Ito & Ryuzoji (3 clans) have been fighting against Uesugi and Hosokawa (2). Ito's silly invasion of Tosa gave Oda a chance to shed blood, so now it's 3:3. In terms of actual fighting, if you had managed to concentrate your forces instead of having them slaughtered piece-meal in futile amphibious attacks, the odds would have been in your favour until a turn or two ago.

True, Ito has had to divide his attention between Shikoku and Honshu, but I have also been fighting a war in the north. Thankfully, this is now over, so at last I can give you my full attention.

Yes, the point is that that material difference is only going to start kicking in now. I've been operating out of one city, Hosokawa's impecunious (sorry Lord H) so it's not like it's been a cake-walk.

Don't forget Amako.

What on earth are you talking about - my 'invasion' was sailing to see what was coming - it's not like my warships have met anything - and Oda hasn't had a chance to shed blood - he's been cowering behind his master waiting for scraps!

One amphibious attack last turn was quite successful.

The others - well, rather than hole up in fortresses waiting, we like to take the fight to the enemy.

I'm only talking about what I've been directly involved in. I see your turn to fight Amako has come. Well, there he is, at war against you three (and Mori) with hardly any support, and you're still talking about overwhelming odds.

I stand corrected. I misunderstood you. Evidently, no fighting took place in Tosa.

You took out Kotto nicely. Perhaps your experience in Shikoku has taught you something--unless you were merely following Ryuzoji's orders.

Did you fight in Tosa? If so you fought Oda's mounted swordsmen, not Hosokawa's. There are some missing, so it seems you did. What happened? Just curious and loathe to wait for cadwah's lunch break!
Tosa's a sea - no fight there - just 14 Ito warships. 🙂

It's also a village.

It must take an awful lot of sake to (hic) see 14 warships where there are one! Where do you get the stuff from?

Ah - province 35? Sh;te man, I'm not quite the sake besotted fool you think I am - attack an enemy province blind where I know there's a village and which is close enough to the front lines to be well defended! 😀

You should be able to see 14 ... maybe a diploware glitch ...

This sentence doesn't make sense. How much sake did you drink?

Ah yes, you're right. Why are they candy-striped, with big smiley faces on the sails? Why are the marines wearing short frilly pink skirts??
