The biggest truth is that you and the Ikko Ikki have been closely allied since turn 1. Given that you weren't going to fight each other and all the remaining clans on Honshu are one of your vassals, it was a foregone conclusion that eventually all of you were going to move against Kyushu. And nothing I said or did would have mattered, so all this sudden preening about my "diplomacy" is disingenous.
Correct, we were allied before the game. If you'd been more diplomatically active, you could have assisted Mogami when I attacked him--a little moral support would have gone a long way there. Worse, you let Hojo slip through your fingers! Perfectly positioned to assist your cause and apparently more than willing to work with you at that stage--yet you did me the immense favour of pushing him into my camp! Why? Surely you had been scheming with puffito prior to that.

Nor was an attack on Kyushu entirely a foregone conclusion. I thought you might be prepared to let bygones be bygones, but you were not interested in making diplomatic contact with me. Otomo was equally taciturn. The choice was then straightforward. I started encouraging Ito to attack you when Otomo got involved with Hosokawa--but Ito was either too afraid or too loyal (despite his protestations that his alliance with me outranked yours)...the way I was thinking then, he could have been the dominant lord on Kyushu and a partner in a three-way coalition.

He's more like a hired killer, really. Sure, he's got a pimp suit, but he doesn't wear it all the time!

How could I have possibly assisted Mogami? That's ridiculous. And Hojo is spreading falsehoods; we were allied right up until the last few turns but realistically there's nothing I could have done to assist him either. You're big on vague talk, but it's all BS.

You encouraging Ito to go to war when you couldn't possibly have helped him is typical of your actions in these games.

Of course I could have helped Ito--via Amako and Hosokawa, to begin with. And it didn't take me long to get to Shikoku, so I'd have been there soon enough.

You couldn't have assisted Hojo directly, no, but had he worked together with Mogami, you wouldn't have needed to.

You weren't planning anything with the former ruler of Hojo?

Where is your proof that I've spread "falsehoods?"

Put up or STFU.

l wanted to take Kyushu by having you internally fight and me allign with the most worthy. And have you all become vasslas for a quick win.

You guys chose to fight in Shikoku thus bringing in the Uesugi.
We didn't choose that! Hosokawa did!

Amako was at war with Mori and Hokosawa was at war with Otomo. And you're still not on Kyushu what 6 turns after entering that war? Ito would have had to face me alone and I was Royalty with at least equal Gold Province value. There wouldn't have been much left if and when you got there. But that would have suited you fine; Ito virtually destroyed and Kyushu divided.

No, I didn't plan anything with Hojo other than allying and sharing recon. And why would Hojo and/or Mogami pay any attention to what someone halfway across the board says?

Ryuzoji can't admit his diplomatic error of ignoring me when he could have had me as a good, trustworthy ally. He certainly can't let his current allies think that for fear of losing face, after all, with Hojo on board with them, they may not be in so dire straits. Get it? Straits? Dire Straits? lol I kill me. No, that would be seppuku...

He's claims he "forgot" to return an email. Does anyone for a moment believe that if Ryuzoji saw an opportunity to further his own cause by making the smallest effort at contact, that we would not have done so, over and above the constraints of his failing memory?

Noodles - not only is your choice of cuisine exceptional, but your timing is exquisite.

I was getting quite depressed over the direction this thread had taken!

To everyone else - I'll join the fray tomorrow.🙁

You're a complete idiot and a liar. I don't recall you EVER sending me any PM with ANY suggested mutual plans. Hojo hasn't done crap; despite attaching your lips to Uesugi's ass, you still don't have as much GPV as Lord Ito. And you have no chance of victory despite doing a bunch of fighting for your master. You got used and screwed in MD and you're repeating your blundering this time. If you ever figure out how to send any troops anywhere near me, I'll make it a special point to smash them.

And if I offended you soooooooooooooooo much, how come you never broke alliance until AFTER Uesugi went to war against me?

You wouldn't dare call me a liar to my face, Sunshine...

When it was confirmed I was in this game by the GM, I sent you an email extending the hand of cooperation and you ignored it. That is a FACT.

Now the world sees you as you are; you can't stand in your own stench so you resort to your playground attacks against me, O Honorable No One, hoping to divert attention away from your failings as a diplomat and strategist.

I would love to meet your forces in a dark harbor somewhere, Ryuzoji.

We are witnessing the pitiful regression of No One further and further back into his childhood years...

You just can't admit you are wrong, can you? You are a pathetic "leader." A smart general looks beyond his own petty agitations and does what's best for his men.

Can't say you're smart at all, nope...

Wrong about what, you twit? What exact aid could realms halfway across the board give each other? 🙄

You're a childish nutcase. And you stink at these games; go back to something easier like marbles.
