I find it very interesting how many attractive women reach old age and still are able to shine with the light of a glorious past. Self-confidence is important to attractiveness, and it's easier to be self-confident if you indeed have reasons for it.
This is a self-reinforcing phenomenon that may last even after appearances fade.
