Doesn't mean that locking up (or banning from the community) people who may or may not be "criminals" is the best solution to ...[text shortened]... he punishment is just plain moronic.

You and your ilk disappoint me. Disappoint and disgust.
Tough titty. Most of us are sick of getting cheated and other sites do this routinely. I understand that a small percentage of users don't care if someone runs an engine against them or not, but the community has overwhelmingly expressed a contrary viewpoint. Be as disgusted as you want; there is no room for cheats on an internet chess site.

One wonders why you would direct your question at the only person who declared apathy.

It's a good contrast to your nausiating simpleton anarchist views .

Shavixmir, as a 1300-odd player... I don't think you'd know a cheat if it hit you in the face with a truck, and I don't think you could possibly understand what it means to be cheated during a game such as chess when you play at such a level. You are out of your league in this discussion, and you should leave this to the moderators. If you're so unhappy with that then perhaps internet chess is just not for you.

This all seems a bit odd to me since dominic whatever has been banned also. This doesn't seem like the play of a chess engine to me, especially as i suck st chess.

From Danton58's profile (one of the Elite 5 to be removed for cheating):

" I have adoration for chess, probably the most wonderful game created of human mind I hope to play whith chessfriends of all continents, because it's nice, fun and instructive for my life."

Kinda feels like waving dog food in front of a caged dog about to be put to sleep..........

Good grief.

You're like an irritating haemorrhoid that itches but just won't bleed.
If you can't stomach someone disagreeing with you on issues of principle, please stick your head down the toilet and drown yourself.

Your argument is flawed in so many ways it boggles my mind.

So, just because you have less hours driving experience, you're not allowed to comment on changes to road law? or the implimentation of dubious sounding fines?

Good grief. Join the haemorrhoid in the toilet please.

Isn't he the predecessor of James Woodley as the leader of the Pawn Stars? No big surprise there...

That clan should just disband. Too long has it been a total disgrace.

Dominic must have cheated for a bit. His graph shoots up, then levels off again, but higher. Kinda questionable. I dunno.

Perhaps you should take your own advice before declaring someone else "sanctimonious" because they don't happen to like being cheated. I don't feel it's rather a particulary high level of piety to insist that others follow the rules that everyone else has to. I also don't approve of people giving the fraudulent impression that they are great players and receiving praise that they didn't deserve by deceit. I guess that's real freakin "sanctimonious", too.
