Agerg's flag says England.
TygerT's flag says South Africa.

I disagree.

If I had known Tygert a long time and had come to value our exchanges it would be quite different, but on this site, as you and I are also, we are strangers. As such there is nothing more difficult in a PM under these circumstances than writing what you were going to say in a forum post then firing it off as a private message instead.
Whether ...[text shortened]... ets to see me being grilled (by certain posters who also played their own parts) just as he did.
After an apparent apology, I don't know if this post is funny or sad.

I've heard the term 'backhanded compliment'. This thread introduces a similar term - 'backhanded apology'. 🙂

Well, no, I have a piercing in my navel, it's rarely 'bare'.

I have part of a monologue from the movie Network in my profile. I'm not speaking, and I don't pretend to be. TygerT says he's 14 in his profile, I tend to believe what someone says about themselves in their profile until I have a reason not to believe them. Why not start off with belief and then change your mind as circumstances dictate, instead of the other way around? I'm sure you've heard of the Golden Rule? The way you're doing it doesn't lead to making more friends, you know.

Liars tend to believe everyone else is lying. It's not difficult to weed them out from the rest, because they usually weed themselves out. I do think it's funny whenever mature adults believe they need to match wits with a 14 year old. If you lose you lose, and if you win you lose. It's a no win situation.

As to why he continued with this instead of just letting it go, what further proof do you need that he is a 14 year old boy? You were able to egg him on and keep him going in spite of himself, which begs the question... what is your excuse? 😛
