I didn't say ban them from the forums, I said give them their own forums.
I'm sorry but if people can afford to buy a computer and internet conncection then they can cough up $30 dollars for a one year subscription.
If the people arn't here for the forums then what would be the problem with banning them from the sub forums. If they wanted to po ...[text shortened]... obviously have to show them what the difference is so that they feel more inclined to subscribe.
Non-subs should have complete equal rights to subs. Especially when it comes to use of the forums.
I think that a 6 game max and not being allowed in clans is far reaching enough.

This forum would make an interesting study of the group dynamic. In the time I have been posting here there seems to be a repeating loop / trend of forum 'personalities' who kinda make it to the top of the tree and are considered popular to many and contraversial to the rest. These personalities invariably burn out, leaving the forums in a flurry of arguments 'cos other personalities arrive and the dynamic of forums changes in a way which doesn't suit them.
Makes me wonder: Would the same people behave in the same way in their local pub as new regulars take up their place at the bar and join in the general day to day banter?
Originally posted by shavixmirYes, the clan forum seems to be the most lively and entertaining one by far, and is no place for non-subs, except peculiar exceptions like Darvlay.

Freddie, old chap, I can't help but notice you've gotten very grumpy since you changed your avatar (weren't imitating anyone, were you?). Have you given yourself a seizure? Your styling dancer was much better, although perhaps at odds with the right-wing image you seem determined to carve for yourself.
I still stick by my statement, I think the drivel posters are a plague on this forum. It's not about sub or non-sub, it's about having some care about the standard of the forums. Most of the posters might be non-subs, but there are subscribers who bring the quality down as well. Fine, if that's how you want to act, go right ahead, I'm just sad that only a small handful of people seem to have any pride in how the forum runs. You just have to look at this thread and see the number of recs that were given for mutual congratulation to see what I mean.
The 'word association game' was intended to contain people's outbursts and hopefully limit the amount of rubbish in threads and judging by the number of posts, perhaps it has worked to some extent. On the other hand perhaps it has encouraged that sort of behaviour, I just don't know anymore. I'm disappointed that more people don't voice their dislike of the way the forum is moving these days, it seems I'm in the minority. So be it, you will see less of me in the coming weeks I feel. My apologies to those who I have insulted recently, when I care about something, I tend to speak out with excess zeal.

If ever anything sounded like reasoning following action...this has got to be the icing on the cake!

People have a set income....yes, most people do. But they managed to set their finances correctly to afford a computer and internet connection. So why can't they organise their finances to save $30. It's up to them, but I don't think that subs should have to put up with non-subs spouting constant rubbish into forums that we pay to post it. I re-iterat ...[text shortened]... pong ball, and I couldn't care less. He paid his right to do that. Why is that soo hard to see?
Do you ever think about what you post? What if they can't afford a pc and internet connection, but can afford an hour at the internet cafe once in a while.

Believe that the police should have the right to murder people with no justification? Want a national ID card? Believe that all foreigners are criminals? Believe that everybody should have to pay for everything?
I could give a flying fishcake about my image. I believe what I believe. If you don't then go away. You don't have to read this either!
You make me sick!!! Go to the BNP forum where your views would be much more welcome.
