You know, it's weird that you say it, but I've been feeling the same way the past few months. The chess books on my shelf collect dust, I never research moves anymore, and I never really kept myself much higher than 1200 or so. My play is mechanical, and thoughtless.

Fortunately, I never left the dim regions of obscurity here, so I'm making myself comfortable.
