They do. Mondays and Wednesdays are usually exceptionally heavy mail days.

First ever brainstorming session was held late last Friday evening in the head

union steward's game room. Creative juices were flowing. Motion to carry any

overflow mail in their cracks, without hazardous duty premium pay, was made

and seconded with unanimous agreement. Hope this clears up any confusion.
