Please join us in giving to the "Shoes for Canada" drive. Many our fellow north american friends are shoeless and you can help. One simple pair of gym shoes means a canuck will go a whole winter free of frostbite. Give today, thank you.

Hi, VR. Glad to see you're still active on ye olde sandbox scene.

You can see by my public forum posts that I have been every inactive. Place hasn't been the same since you left...well you can see for yourself I know.
Nice to see you back and hopefully fully recovered. You were remembered in my prayers old friend.

Noticed five things since getting back in the swim last Friday: 1) GF seems incredibly dead; 2) Many of the vocal members who became threatened so easily and believed they owned the site have peeled off. Many of these almost friends were among my most persistent detractors; 3) A handful of durable members who are not easily intimidated have stepped up to carry the lion's share of the load. Though their humor is crisp and put downs devastating, the abuse is all in good fun and reveals underlying deep and natural affection. 4} Can't believe how rusty I've become with chess. Please checkout 'Yard Sale' in the "Ever Awaken One Fine Day" thread; 5) Neither can I believe how much I've missed the company of my few loyal butt buddies and trusted friends.
Thanks, Russ & Chris, for RHP!

Small though powerful beacon still lit in a once lively forum that seems to be dying and is obviously losing its way. Nearly two weeks have elapsed during the birth of all the many other failed threads on page one. Only a smidge more than two/day. Pitiful.

Sorry Frank Burns must have gas again.
Some people say it burns their eyes.
Thinking makes your head hot shorty.
Heat = energy
I guess that chunk of spam lodged between those rather thick walls of your mis-shapen cranium has some use after all.
