A little cooler to day -8C with a feel like temperature of -16C..... I have to go out today so hope they have the roads well salted. I'll wait till this afternoon after a few thousand vehicles have driven over the streets. 😉

When it hits -20C with a wind child factor of -30 or more that is when I "stick" inside, unless of course it is an emergency. As you are aware the sun is closer to the earth this time of year and it is out, doesn't feel like -8C or -16C at all. Of course I played pond hockey as a kid in -30 weather. At -30 it seems colder now than I remember as a kid.

When I was in my late teens I weas skiing at Mont Tremblant, in the Laurentians(Quebec). The temp at the top, with the wind chill, was -50C. We made one run and headed to the lodge (bar) at the bottom and there we stuck.

I have never been in -50C weather...I think I would have just stuck at the lodge, back in those days probably at the bar! 😉

True, and I still have some glögg on the shelf. It's sweet wine, 15% so its pretty 'heavy' and can be kept for a long time like port, even you can leave it, that is. 🙂 And you drink it hot, with raisins and almond.

You have, good! I'm sure you will just love it, you can't stop reading. I read my copy again the other day, only selected parts though, the ones that make me feel good and impressed with his writing. It's a book for men, I think but I love it.
