It didn't look that bad on the beach, a bit hot but not that much...

Now I am in severe pain. How to help myself ? Yoghurt, ice cream ? 😛

I had 2nd degree burns one time. Bad news, I had radiation sickness also. The doctor told me to take oatmeal baths. I had to get some special oatmeal crap for them. There was also an aloe gel that cooled sunburns. I forget the name.

As Smaug said aloe is best.

Vinegar, believe it or not might make it cool down. That is an old family remedy. 🙂

Aloe w. lidocaine added is your best bet.
Just got some as I had a sunburn last week too.
Works wonders with or without lidocaine in it... lidocaine will cost a little more but has more pain-relief along with...

Try key word search sunburn remedies and try the one that you think will help you. P.S. One web page states that "If you turn bright red, get blisters, have fever, chills and nausea - CONSULT A DOCTOR".

Vinegar was seriously popular when I was a boy. Easy to be wise after the event, but an ounce of prevention is still better than a pound of cure. Invest in some effective sun screen creams.

solarcaine aloe vera gel, it heals the burn, and numbs it as well.

Old family remedy of mine, cactus. Find some, peel it, crush it, blend it, and apply. Don't be afraid to apply to your hair if you have scalp sunburn as well. It is very healthy for your hair as well. If you choose that method tell me how it works out.

Take my word for it. Aloe. I have had 3rd degree burns and used it and the results are instant. Buy an aloe plant. Split the member, scrape the gel from it and apply directly to the burnt area. I swear to you, it not only works, it speeds healing. Ask any welder. All the old hands use it. Never be caught without an aloe plant in your home. You can even eat it for stomach problems. If stranded without water on the desert, eat the pulp as a water replacement. All the natives of the southwest, indians and mexicans call it the medicin plant and use it accordingly. End of lecture....................................................

Thanks for all advices ! It is much better today, I went to the farmacy and got some good cream out of aloe vera and some other ingridient. Uh oh, what pain that was (I am not as new today, but will be soon hopefuly) 🙂

Buy an Aloe Vera plant, as opposed to the creams. Much nicer.
