You don't need to add salt to your food. If you do it's a bad habit. Salt is okay on chips and that's about it for me

i never add salt after i've cooked something (unless it really needs it, but if it does i haven't done my job right)

My son does most of his own cooking, and mine if I ask him to. He has his own recipes for making pork burgers and stews and stuff. He's a fussy eater so it's easier to let him do it himself and he's happy with that. He makes a very nice mashed potato with grated mature cheddar cheese in it.

I don't use salt at all, I stopped 2 months ago and eat very little processed food to avoid hidden salts. My blood pressure lowered and I lost 8lb in the first week. Salt isn't good for me.
