In what ways is being above or below average important?
Am I liable to lose place of things more easily? Get confused with where I am? 😳

I am terrible at recognising faces, so I found this test interesting to take. As expected, I didn't do very well on the face recognition test (16th percentile), although I expected to do even worse. I think I wouldn't have had a chance if the faces had been shown from slightly different angles or with a different facial ...[text shortened]... nt pairs of glasses. I wonder if playing chess may have helped me to improve my visual memory?

I'm surprised I did that well on the verbal part, but I suppose it was because I learned them as words, not names. I can do words, but I never remember names... the visual part I knew I'd do well in.
I wonder how all this correlates with ratings? especially if there's high rated people doing badly on the visual parts. which would falsify the sort of obvious hypothesis that high rated people would have better visual memory.

Nice one Nordles.
My results where in the areas I would have expected but I would not have expected to be so atrocious with the names.
Faces 92% correct - percentile rank 80
Objects 98% correct - percentile rank 90
Verbal 42% correct - percentile rank < 1 🙁
I'm a verbal dullard!
Edit: I am surprised you still remember my name. 😉
