What is "regular" poker?

Do you mean Draw, Lowball, 7 card stud, 7 stud hi-lo, Omaha .. or Indian Poker?

I used to play at several poker sites, but now I just go to pokerstars.com with username "DD-746".

I'm usually there several times every day at the 'play money' tables. I like the fixed bet small stakes ring games, and the 'sit and go' NL tournaments. I also occasionally get into the 'free roll' and 'free play' tournaments.

I tried 'real money' for about a year, but for now I just use play money. The caliber of players are very different between the two.

My advice, for what it's worth.... The 'play money' games are OK for learning, up to a point, but don't make the mistake of thinking that being good at play money games will mean you are good at the other!

Yes. Look under tournaments for freeplay and freeroll. If you have lots of patience you can win a little real money in those, but most of them are huge and will take a couple hours or more, and the payoff isn't very good unless you manage to get to the final table.

I think the freeplay is just funny money payouts, but the freeroll could get you some real money.
