yeah he was slowly losing it by the last album but there are def some great solo tracks out there.

he was getting pissed off with the production team by the last album (as they were with him also) so its a bit of a miracle it ever got released lol

This depends on what you mean by 'original' - there were many names for the band before Syd arrived, including (and not exclusive to):

Sigma 6 (the first name which was used more than once or twice)
The Meggadeaths
The Screaming Abdabs
The Abdabs
Tea Set
The Pink Floyd Sound
and The Pink Floyd

all came before the simple and now used "Pink Floyd"

Take your pick.

Funnily enough the eventual set list that we played most of our gigs with included - Who's gonna win the war, PSI power, Masters of the univers, and Damnation alley.

We were kinda guff, and ended up playing all the songs we knew.

Hawkwind - - -4 chords and a freaky solo 🙂
