I wouldn't go as far as to say it is disgusting, otherwise chewing anything would be considered disgusting. It all depends on how you chew it (at least chew with your mouth closed. 😉 ). Also dispose of the gum properly after finishing with it.

Anyway, I fully agree that chewing gum can be harmful though.

I had a biology teacher in H.S. that successfully grossed out most of us students. The topic chewing gum came up and how many people constantly open their mouth and close it when chewing. Creating a vacuum each time. Which sucks air from the surrounding space into the mouth, then gets mixed/chewed into the gum. She then said, "Look around you and imagine and stuff floating in the air in here." (Bio Lab with dead critters and whatnot getting cut up). Then she said, "How many of you chew your gum while in the restroom?!"

Eww...

I agree.

Especially when it's done by old age pensioners like Alex Ferguson! 😞 [this is where the vomit smiley is needed]

The best way to dispose of your gum is to walk up to the waste basket, make loud hacking & gagging noises then forcefully spit it into the wastebasket, preferably on a piece of loose paper so it makes a splatting sound. It will really gross out coworkers, especially if they think you spitting out something other than a piece of gum.

But it helps your memory:

I don't like chewing gum, but I use it on the airplane to deal better with the changes in air pressure.

If more fat people actually chewed gum as opposed to eating Macdonald's then their fat greasy repulsive legs wouldn't brush against the table legs!

The last revelers of Charles II's royal court are also still here, debauching their way through the earlier hours of the morning. . . Grab yourself a courtier join the party and enjoy the merriment my friend.
