Anyone a part of this site?

I joined a couple weeks ago and I quickly discovered that everyone I ever went to high school or university with is on it. It's absolutely nuts. So nuts that it kinda messes up your life. A lot of times I find myself making small talk with 10 or more old acquiantances and friends at once -- which can quite the turn-off for some but as a social animal, I don't mind.

Anyways, it's CRAZY - is all I wanted to say. Ten times better than myspace which tends to be a sea of spam and self-promotion with way more people who you can say are your actual "friends".

EDIT - Phenomenum??? What was I thinking?

I find it's been a really great site to keep in touch and swap pictures with family that are scattered all across the country.

yeah, facebook is great for that, finding friends from years ago, dunno about myspace as i never used it

it started out as a university-only site, which i thought was better...but hey, i'm not one for change...but yeah, all my friends social lifes seem to revolve around facebook. facebook events are, apparently, the greatest thing known to man...

it is quite a phenomenon... 😕
