It's all about charisma.

It's undefinable.

I've been with hot looking guys, ugly guys, older guys, younger guys, fat guys and skinny guys.

It's impossible to classify a personality simply by body type/physical appearance.

It's all about the chemistry. Pheromones. Endorphines.

I had one of the goofiest looking men I've ever seen come on to me one time in a bar. Normally this guy would never stand a chance but his constant insistance to being Brad Pitts look alike finally won me over. In the end he was a two timing jerk but that's besides the point.

Each and every person is different. No woman wants the jerk, but no woman wants the pushover either.

Women are no different than men in what we want (I think)

We all want someone who is sincere in their emotions, who will love us unconditionally, in good times and bad. Who will bring us chicken soup when we're sick and a pat on the back when we've done good. Who'll listen to our complaints and share in our achievements. And most of all be honest, loyal, and respectful. A friend, a cheerleader and number one fan.

No matter what you're looks/body type these things will always win out in the end and stand the test of time.

We all want to feel like the most important person in the world to someone.

We want that magic. Chemistry.

Unfortunately all too often it's our own insecurities, past hurts, mistrusts and lack of communication that interferes in great relationships going bad.

But I guess it's in the learning process the real fun is had. We love, we lose, we hurt then love again.

There are no answers, no right or wrong approach. No perfect "type", no one size fits all.

Just simple people with complicated desires.

Blah blah blah

🙄

This doesn't work out to well for someone like me. Uncute, no charm, but capable of being romantic/sweet.

Keep in mind, when a guy approaches a girl, she has already made desisions about him before he has even said a word. (The same goes vise-versa as ...[text shortened]... oint is that cute is what matters in the beginning, and romance is what matters later.

I have to tell you something. Something that you obviously don't know... You HAVE the power to lose all that weight and be slim! 😵😲

It's true. I wouldn't tell you this if I hadn't checked it out myself. All you have to do is STOP EATING CARBOHYDRATES & SUGARS!

You can do it. See the problem here is that when you eat carbohydrates your body converts it to sugar - and the energy is not required because you don't exercise... so then your body goes into panic mode and produces insullin to get rid of the excess sugar in your blood.

That in turn makes you HUNGRY!

Yeah, crazy isn't it? So the solution to get out of this downward spiral is to not eat sugar and carbohydrates. I know it seems hard at first, but all you have to do... all anyone has to do... is start out with a fast for 24 hours (nothing but spring water). Then, when you break the fast, eat ONLY light fruit and vegatables.

You can do this. If you think you are too weak, then buy a small cheeseburger, take it home. Strip naked and eat it bite by bite while looking at your body in a full length mirror. This may make you cry while you are eating it... I guarantee you that you won't eat it all, and it could give you the strength to continue with the program.

The veggies that you should be eating will not give you those terrible binges that you keep doing to yourself. Break the downward spiral - CHANGE YOUR LIFE! 😵

Yes. Low carb diets make you tired and weak because your body is used to a high carb diet. But this is interesting... The reason you have to endure a 24 hour fast and drink lots of water is to help your body break the cycle.

Once you've started into this new diet the body will be so hungry for nourishment that it will process the fruits & veggies as the food it originally wasn't satisfied with, and start burning the stored fat in the body to get the carbohydrates that it craves.

Some experts claim that it's essential to do a little bit of exercise during this period - that by doing the exercise it forces the body to burn the fat. I dunno, I'm not an expert. But I do know that this system really works cause many, many people have used it with success!

Whether you exercise or not, your body starts feeling so much better, cause it's getting the proper vitamins and minerals w/o the fat, that it becomes easier and easier NOT to eat high carbohydrated junk.

Fruits and many vegetables can have high carb content.

Last time I seriously tried a low carb diet, I lost muscle mass as well as fat. This shouldn't have been the case with high protein intake. Strange.

Still, I agree that soft drinks, etc... have a serious impact on weight gain.

I checked out your website by (clicking on your handle). It's a cool site but I don't understand the dialect you use in your messages. I think you were trying to show sarcasim about the subject, but it's not clear.

Light fruits are full of sugar (simple carb), vegetables are pure carbohydrate (complex carb). You seem too be contradicting your point.

This is a perfect example of misinformation in the media regarding weight loss.

However, you are semi-correct that MOST people are overweight because they eat too much carbohydrate - contray to popular belief, fat consumption is not the reason the average slob is overweight. It is the excess consumption of low fibre carbohydrates (white bread, potatoes, pasta), combined with a lack of excersise that causes humans to store fat. This is amplified by insulin spikes caused by sugar consumption (including fruit). But the most misunderstood reason is frequency and size of meals. WE EAT TOO MUCH, AND NOT FREQUENTLY ENOUGH. Three large meals a day will cause the body to constantly be in a starvation mode, storing excess carbs as fat, due to the infrequency of meals.

The answer: You can eat as many complex carbs by caloric value as your body burns. It helps if they are high in fibre for the added health benefits. This is simple maths. If you burn more than you use, you lose weight. Eat 6 smaller meals evenly space throughout the day - keep the boby nourished, not bursting full through to starving and then eat again. If you want to keep fat off, you should also eat plenty of protein because the biggest calorie burner in the body is muscle. No protein = muscle catabolism (breakdown). AND EXCERSISE. Burn the calories......

Why thanks 😉

Just my smart arse way I guess. I admit most people don't get my sense of humour but I assure you it's an attempt at poking fun.

You would be surprised what lack of sleep and isolation leads you to conjure up some times 🙄

But with so much time on my hands I have nothing to do but refelct on the insanity of human nature.

Laugh or cry.......laugh or cry....😀:'(😀:'(

I don't understand all this crazy talk of carbs and diets?!?!

I watched a show the other day, a documentary actually, called "chubby chasers"

There was a whole slew of good looking successful men who went gaga over bigger women. And I mean at least 200 lbs and up. I thought it was great to see reality for once. Not everyone is attracted to a size 2.

This is a mass media produced myth.

The only reason a person should diet is if they are unhappy with themselves, not to attract a person of the oppopsite sex.

If you're happy with yourself I'll guarantee you there will be someone who will be just as happy with you. Just the way you are.

Unless you're a jerk. Then forget it. And all the dieting in the world won't make you less of a jerk so you're just wasting your time. Just don't be a jerk. 😉

Good information for those who are intersested isn't anything to be sorry about.

I'm sure there are alot of people who struggle with their weight and honestly try to lose the extra pounds in order to feel better about themselves and their health.

I'm not against a person trying to improve themselves by all means.

I just don't think a person should do it as motivation to meet/keep a girl/guy.
