The Kids dilemma.

The Kids dilemma.

In Canada they say it’s now between $10-15K a year. Can’t remember the cut off age. Parents teach their offspring what they’ve been taught, for the most part. If the “teachers” were not taught well by their “teachers”, there can be problems and often are. Most parents do the best they can with what they have. One is lucky if one gets a semblance of their life back but ...[text shortened]... the “expense” of having children.
Most of what I’ve just said sounds a bit...obvious, doesn’t it?🤔
The world is so full of noise and clutter, sometimes it actually does help to restate the obvious.

Yes, but only if you are going to bring them up properly and make them responsible, productive, independent adults, otherwise use contraceptives. Badly brought up kids become murderers, rapists, deranged sickos who terrorise society and their parents and relatives, and is a financial drain on the government scarce resources.

Many many such examples like that all over the developed world. Developing [third world] nations have less of that and it can be argued that a rich modern country is now the worst place to bring up kids. They have a tendency to become spoilt, entitled, depressed and lacking in the drive necessary to become independent successful adults.
A fair point, or at least something to consider.

I created a new thread trying to sell kids but they deleted it, at 20k do you think they should be free?
The problem is, in many parts of the world there actually is a market.

@Indonesia-Phil and @drewnogal
Thank you for sharing your stories on this topic.
Goes to show that we don't have to adhere to some externally imposed ideal template to live a good life.

I do wonder whether some women just like being pregnant because it might be the only time anyone ever, for a short time, offers them a bit of attention and support?

What other way is there to explain why some women intentionally have over 10 children?
On this topic, I think Australia needs to be considered separately.

It was clearly a joke, unfortunately those who sent me PMs inquiring about prices were sadly disappointed.
Whatever you replied to me also got deleted. I don’t remember it being offensive but I have forgotten what you said. I think you replied that I’d missed you stating a thread about selling kids.

In some cultures it's considered necessary to have many children as they are expected to help their parents when they are old, or older. In the same cultures children often die early, so you need to have many of them.

Yes, I understand that. I should have mentioned that I was mainly thinking about the young women who have a number of pregnancies with different partners who quickly disappear once the child arrives, giving the next boyfriend who temporarily moves in the unwanted role of a stepfather.

“Notorious”, rather than “famous,” methinks. Still, some, not all.
Alright, more notorious. I will stay with more than not.

Yes of course, I have those in mind too - often. The girls in that situation are in no position to make claims or demands and it takes a lot from them, it's very unfortunate most of the time.

People from those cultures should be sterilized to stop the cycle. After getting sterilized they can have all the fun they want without reprocussion.

You seem to be advocating genocide, or at least suggesting that *some* people are vermin.

Guys who impregnate women and do not support their families are vermin.

Women who intentionally get pregnant to collect public funds are vermin.

I read, recently, that we Canadians, are falling behind in our population growth (not via people coming here from elsewhere). Seems the generations who can have children are, either only practicing or have decided not to take on the responsibility of child rearing. Who’s going to pay for the elder’s government pensions in the future? A problem, by the way I won’t have to worry about.🤔😲😉👍
