I've noticed that people on these forums seem to get a bit grumpy if anyone dares stray from the proscribed topic of a thread. Personally I sometimes like to see how a conversation is going to pan out, so I've created this thread with no particular topic. Feel free to talk about anything and follow the flow of the conversation that I hope will arise.
I will start a similair thread in the Debates forum for a more sensible free flowing conversation, but here we can be as frivolous (sp?) as we wish.

Go for it guys...

it's kind of a 'Seinfeld' thread then?

I thought it was more of a quintessential RHP thread actually 😛.

Possibly, having never seen Seinfeld I wouldn't know.

You haven't missed anything, Seinfeld is the worst form of comedy drivel ever to be given re-runs.

No, the threads here are far more regimented than the other forum I post at.

it's the 'show about nothing'...great comedy about totally superficial people (who know they are superficial - that's what makes it so good)😀

Doesn't it say somewhere in TOS that all thread's have to have topics? You guys are gonna get in so much trouble when Ross finds out about this.

Does it have to be a good poem? And the peanuts, roasted or salted?

Actually, i just noticed that he's threatening to tell ROSS, not RUSS. I don't know who this Ross character is, but i don't really care if he finds out about the thread. crumple up the poem, Jimmy, and feed the peanuts to your elephant. let's call his bluff!

Hey! How come he gets an elephant? I want an elephant, no-one asked me if I wanted an elephant 🙁

But moving past that poetical distraction, I've only seen Seinfield once or twice and was never impressed enough to attempt to see it again. That could be said of most TV programs however. But given what a generally poor form of entertainment the TV is, I don't see any reason for "putting the effort in" to watching something just in case it "grows on me". I'd be terribly disapointed 90% of the time and will have wasted many many hours.

No-one asked me if I wanted an elephant either, I've had this one for ages. Actually it's probably about time I got a new one. I'll sell him to you if you want.
