Well I guess I was the one that cast the first stone! Now they are coming at me!

greenphantom I have no problem with you timing me out. And I didn't use any odd tactics to bore you or anything. I just had so many games going at once I had to stretch my time to play at a decent level. I have since reduced my games now (no not by timing out). So it isn't a problem.

If your time is out the flag on the clock has dropped. So fair is fair. I think that players with fluctuating ratings shouldn't be able to join lower rated tournaments. I am not sure what the best way to stop this is. I suggest a ban from tournament play for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and then 12 months for each offense. The time outs should be 10 in a row. So say you miss a weekend and it costs you 5 games, it really doesn't have the same impact. If you offend further you should just be banned all together. Anyway, it is just an idea.
