Yes, Sweden are very average. We beat them 3-0 before the tournament with a new manager. You managed a draw, which you might well have lost. And Ecuador were arguably the worst team in the last 16.

You rode your luck as far as it would take you. You met a below par Portuguese team. You drew on 120, and lost on penalties. England never performed. You can have no complaints.
